The decaffeination method we apply is using natural water and a special plant, Descafecol. We find this plant in Manizales, Colombia. The water comes from a spring located near the plantations and no other processing takes place before steam boiler process. We can say that this particular water has been tested extensively and is of excellent quality, suitable for coffee processing (coffee cannot be processed using tap water because chemicals are used to make it safe and these chemicals can alter the coffee’s organic compounds). Additionally, the removal of caffeine in this manner does not significantly affect or alter the taste of the coffee.
